How to send a tooth?
Sending Your Tooth For A Custom Piece
Thank you for choosing Dreadful Pigeon to create unique jewellery from your treasured teeth. To ensure a smooth process, please follow these instructions when sending your teeth to us
The following two steps are for UK customers only
HYGIENIC PREPARATION
- Thoroughly clean and dry your chosen tooth / teeth before sending them to us.
- Please be aware that the postal service may refuse delivery if the teeth are not dry and start to decay in transit (gross)
RETURN BOX
- A return box & pre paid label will be posted out to you once your order is placed. All you have to do is package up your tooth in the box & pouch provided, pop on the new label and put it in the post box!
The following steps are for customers outside of the UK

- Thoroughly clean and dry your chosen tooth / teeth before sending them to us.
- Please be aware that the postal service may refuse delivery if the teeth are not dry and start to decay in transit.
HOW TO PACKAGE
- Safeguard your teeth during transit by using a padded envelope or a sturdy small box.
- Individually wrap each tooth with bubble wrap or tissue paper.
- Do not use preservative liquids, plastic bags, or vials to package the teeth.
LABELLING AND DOCUMENTATION
- Clearly label the package with our business name and address as the recipient.
- Include a note with your details (name, order number, email) for reference. You may also share any specific preferences for the jewellery creation.
- You will need to include a declaration certificate ( you can find them at your post office)
CUSTOM CHARGES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Please be aware that any customs charges or taxes incurred during shipment will be your responsibility. We recommend inquiring about potential charges from your local postal service or customs office.
WHO TO SHIP WITH?
- We recommend using UPS for shipping
- PLEASE NOTE - once your teeth have been shipped we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage that may occur during transit. We advise using a shipping method with tracking and insurance for your protection.
